I'm curious if you right wingers said the same things when Bush drastically increased direct aid to Palestine in 2005 to $350 million. Yeah, thats what i thought.
This is a country that has a direct effect on the stability of the region and the safety of our allies. We have a serious interest in its stability, and giving funds for infrastructure and humanitarian aid is one of the cheapest ways to facilitate that goal.
