The 60s generation sure have fulfilled their miserable mission to be the biggest destructive, self-obsessed d-bags that ever existed.
I can see how we have some segment of our population who over-use health services because they've spent their lives abusing their bodies and now expect a doctor to have a magic cure to reverse the self-abuse. Too much food, too much booze, too many pregnancies, too much laying about, too much of everything. While I support their choice to lead their lives the way they want to lead them, I certainly don't want to be held responsible for subsidizing poor lifestyle choices.

Killer whales were not put on the planet for our entertainment. The whale in question has done this 3 times now -- I don't blame the whale. They are intelligent creatures who have been known to go "postal" in captivity. It's like we put these animals in prison for life, and they never committed a crime. When trainers get hurt or killed, it's collateral damage as long as Sea World sells those tickets.
Enlisting the same parents who were doing lines in the bathroom of the disco and blazing up between classes? Right.
Here's praying that no more Kennedys ever run for political office. I think they've done enough damage for one country's history. Unfortunately there is a gaggle of them.
If Americans are smart, they'll find a way to get off the national grid.
I concur with dumpbox. If we could find a cure for a dread disease using him as a contribution to medical science that might counter-balance the cost of his incarceration. Think more broadly please.
Only the victims families should be able to pull the switch if execution is indeed their choice. It gives me little comfort that our government is executing anyone -- even human garbage like this guy.
Killing him accomplishes nothing -- he likely wants to die so he can get his 70 virgins. I say keep him alive and use him as a human model for medical experimentation. I'm tired of rats, dogs, and monkeys suffering when we could use human detritus to serve these purposes. And wouldn't that be a noble contribution?
Back in the day, this crap didn't happen because our culture didn't worship children. Children were seen and not heard. Children knew their place. Freaking yuppies have bred snot-filled, entitled, dumbed down crotch droppings that are perfect for the new world order -- brainless and spineless.
