I agree! One could make a case for Gooden or Carter or someone else and it wouldn't have been disappointing but Seaver is the team's all-time pitcher and Piazza is the team's all-time catcher.

I for one was disappointed that it was a night game because I have plans that I can't cancel. That said, I bet my case is atypical. I'd like to see all the big games played at night so that the most amount of fans can watch them not just the ultra-diehards and the unemployed.
