The true heroes of this action are Captain Phillips for never giving in to the pirates, the great members of the Navy Seals, and don't forget the Captain of the Navy ship that actually made the call and took all the responsibility for the action to fire and kill the pirates. If this had failed, believe me, that Captain would have been the one to have paid the price for his decision not President Obama. Obama would have said that the Captain made the wrong call and hung him out to dry. President Obama's order was only fire in the case of imminent danger. Basically meaning fire only when it looks like they are going to kill him anyway, It don't take very much leadership to make that call. If it succeds he's a great leader. If it fails he tried and blames it on the other guy.. The Commander on the scene has the authority to do exactly what the Captain did, unless Obama told him not to. Think about that one.
Now why would we expect anything else out of this president. Where is the outcry from congress. This is what we get when we elect unqualified people based on idealogy and not experience. The founding fathers always feared that political parties would be the biggest threat to America and they were right. To blindly follow an idealogy and not think for ones self not only diminishes your knowledge and ability to make an educated decision, it makes you susceptible to being led by people that are not looking out for you best interest or well being. We must read, investigate, get out of our comfort zones, talk to people with different ideas and beliefs. Only then should we make up our own minds. To not do this is to follow what all politicians want you to do. That is why they tell you one thing and then do another. The American people for the most part live and believe in the center but we allow the people from the outer edges to lead us because we don't research and stand for the truth.

Maybe the president will go down to Venezula and say the same things there that he did in Europe. That way we can give away another Trillion. Then Chavez can send some more guns up to Mexico and the politicians can blame it on guns going south to Mexico. That way the people who want to do away with our 2nd amendment rights will have what they need
The bashing of the previous office holders is what all politicians do. It is a way for them to cover up the fact that they are up to something behind the scenes and want to draw your attention away from what they themselves are doing. A person that is telling the truth and believes in what they are doing will not hide behind such childish behaviors
People, why would we think that Obama or any of his people would do anything different than what they are doing right now. Before his run for Congress he was saying the same things he is saying now. Once he got into Congress he was saying the same thing he is saying now. Even during his run for president he was saying the same thing he is saying now. We can't act like this is something new here.
People that believe in what the founding fathers laid out in our Constitution and Bill of Rights know what the path of our country should be. All other beliefs are what our country was trying to get away from when our forefathers fought for our independence.
Anyone who believes otherwise, either republican, democrat or of any other belief is more than welcome to leave and go found their own country or find one that believes as they do

As usual you are blinded by your political agenda. We are not here because its Republican verses Democrat. That's what the people in those parties want you repeat. I belong to no party, nor do I totally agree with either. There are good ideas just as there are bad ideas in both parties. I believe in the teachings of my faith and I am an American. I, just as anyone else, are intitled to our own beliefs and the right to speak of these beliefs. Those who try to divide us with their party affiliations and all or none attitudes are what has gotten us to the point that we find ourselves now. This site is not just about what one party has done wrong. It is about what has been done to this country over the years by both parties that is in direct conflict with the constitution, bill of rights, and founding fathers of the United States of America.
Maybe if they were to enforce the current immigration laws health care would be more affordable. Seems like every states healthcare system is overrun with the extra costs associated with illegal aliens
