It's good to know I'm not alone. I gave up on remembering names. I focus on other aspects of the person. My significant other serves as my name memory. She doesn't even notice when I start a story with "the guy who grew up in Wyoming and kept talking about Vegas at Eric's party ..." instead of with "Tom ..."
Everyone needs a nametag at all times.

For the sake of his career and short-term gain, it is definitely best to fight to maintain control and to fight to remain as CEO. My point was that if there is a good chance that he would be ousted as CEO if he loses board control, then there is likely a valid reason for that to happen. The board hopefully would not do it just because they could.

But yes, control is very important for entrepreneurs to understand as they examine funding. There are probably many young entrepreneurs how don't understand the potential consequences of dilution.

Couldn't it be that those putting the pressure on to remove the young CEO are correct? I've heard many stories of near borderline behavior causing the exit of what are considered to be valuable high-level executives. He's also caused some really great PR with statements like 'We don't listen to users. We're smarter than all of them.'__If many people think something should happen, there's usually a valid argument for their viewpoint.
