I love mystery, thriller etc so I am willing to try new authors in that category. Others I will pick up after reading great reviews from trusted bloggers with similar interest.

I wonder what memoirs you have enjoyed, that was my answer. I am not a huge fan of YA, I am very choosey..... I do love Verse novels though.
