The only two home games we've played poor in so far this season was Man Utd and Fulham. I'm sure come sunday the boys will be up for it and we'll get the result.

I heard Mick Mccarthy was resting his first 11, can anyone confirm this?

We need a player who's not scared to get a bit aggressive. Wasnt happy when he hit upson but as fans you forget those sorts of things when they start playing for you.

Hello mate, you think fans on this site are being a bit negative now, you should have seen after the Bolton game.

I was hoping after we had agreed a fee for the tevez thing the press would leave us alone, but at the moment we just seem to be the britney spears of the football world.

You're right we shouldnt be down there, and im very confident we wont by the end of the season.

One player who has stood out for me off the field is collison. He has done a fair few interviews over the last few months and he seems to say all the right things. I think he's got the otential to become a great captain some day.

I think there are quite a few teams above us who have relied on their home form so far this season. Second half its our turn to start getting some good home results.

We'll be ok

I predict that the only player to leave in January will be Upson (probably to man city with a player coming our way). I think there are a fair few clubs interested in some of our other players but if they make a move it will be in the summer.

Upson is likely to go because there are a number of teams up the top who are desperate for a centre back who can slot straight in. I think Parker is safe because, although in my opinion he is currently one of the most in form players in the league i cant see any of the big boys coming in for him.

I dont think Liverpool or Man Utd have the money for Parker, Man City and Arsenal dont need him and he has already been Chelsea and struggled to make the team. I also think that every club that may be considering him with have his past injury problems in the back of their minds.

I dont think Cole will go either because he loves it where he is. His form has been up and down all throughout his career because he couldn't get his head right. He's got himself in the right frame of mind here....why would he risk being unsettled again.

As for the take over. The great news as far as i'm concerned is that everyone involved in the bidding has the same objective to bring stability and they all recognise the potential. I just hope that the current owners arent just looking for the highest bidders but also the most suitable.

Yesterday was a great opportunity for Nouble to show everyone what he was made of and he failed to take it......lets just hope it was a one off and he can go on to do great things for us in the future.

COYI!!!

Sorry i agree with 99% of your posts but i cant agree with you on this.

Frank Nouble didnt even seem to try yesterday. I know it was his debut and Arsenal are the most inform side in the league but that wasnt their league side....far from it. And its the worst ive seen them play in a long time.

As for Carlton Cole his change in form has been nothing short of a miracle that no-one expected. It wasnt just 18 months it was years before he started to forfill is potential. Nouble needs to show his potential a lot quicker, he wont get the same amount of chances Cole got.

I was far to quick yesterday to say he was rubbish and shouldnt be given a chance. He obviously deserves more time. But just because he is young and it was his debut doesnt mean that he deserves a 6 for playing poor.

And we shouldnt get too carried away with the fact that Wenger wanted him. Although he's probably the best talent spot in the league he has made some errors.....Jeffers for example. Plus most of his youngsters never break it into the arsenal side, they just get sold on.

I think Iain has been pretty fair in his asessment. the stats dont lie.

we only had 32% of the possession and only 3 corners compared to arsenals 14!!!!!

Iain disagree with you on Diamanti. Its nice to have someone in the team who will actually shoot. I also love the fact that the opoosipion players clearly hate playing against him. We need a player who will rattle a few cages. I think our sqaud is full of too many nice professionals.

I agree with most of your other comments, im glad im not the only person who thought Nouble was woeful. I was very disappointed.

I think 4 for Sears is a little low. The game had already turned in arsenals favour by then and he didnt really get a chance....maybe a 5 or 6 would be more suitable.
