Let the homeless take shelter in the old firestation.

Especially families with children.

Don't make them sleep in doorways or under bridges.

They are our own American citizens, for Pete's sake.

Besides, we already have social services that the homeless need,

at McDermott House.

Plus, good bus service, discount foods, thrift-stores, schools, library, etc.

Who are they hurting?

Remember "The miracle on the Hudson"? The Capt. of that "ship" (a jet) stayed onboard until the very last passenger was standing safely on the wings.

After everyone was off, he walked all the way to the back of the sinking plane, checking again to see if anyone else was still aboard. That was Capt. Sully, and he is a hero.

Where do you individuals buy locked mail-boxes?

We tried to get locked mail-boxes on our block, but one or 2 neighbors did not want them.

We were told that everybody on the block has to have a locked mail-box, or else nobody can.

Is that true? And where do you get them?
