Hi. I am aware that I may not change your views. That is fine. I just want to share mine; I am aware that Dec 25th is not the day he was born. Actually, I have been taught that it was believed to be about 6 months after Passover. I don’t think anyone knows for sure. And yes I am aware that that date was first celebrated as a pagan holiday. It is suggested that the Roman Christians simply decided to celebrate the birth of Jesus on a day that would intentionally compete a pagan feast. It has become a Christian holiday. It is no longer a pagan holiday. Again, On Christmas Christians celebrate Christ’s birth and many non-Christians focus more on the other parts of Christmas. No where in the Bible does it say “Celebrate my birth on this day” We have made the choice. It is our day to do this in an extra special way. I by no means think that getting a PS3, decorating a tress and ham dinners are part of Gods word or commandments. It’s just a part of our celebration;)
PEACE
