Federalism people, federalism. Let Kentucky be Kentucky and California be California. Most of the federal overreach is from the liberals trying to impose their religious mandates (read: Environmentalism/Identity politics, etc.) on us from DC. Libertarian at the federal level, socially conservative at state level!

It's our worst suspicions confirmed. They even know that by pure chance someone will have something on their record that could be used against Joe Miller and that it shouldn't be because that's random chance. What do they do? They specifically look for it to smear him with and dream up other scenarios to hurt his campaign. This despicable crap happens in EVERY newsroom in America and has been the case since there was media. Slimy scumbags are just being exposed now.

Well this isn't completely accurate. I don't think Jefferson or Adams themselves made these smears. It was their surrogates and opinion writers.

Not really, it's obvious that a significant portion of the left really believes this about their opponents. So--as the tweets show-- they figured it was real. Even the ones that were there.

I personally think the "Fake Supporter" believed he WAS really impersonating a Paul supporter and could get away with it. The original youtube has the videographer repeating what he was saying before the camera got on him, That he was going to say racist things to make Paul look bad. If you saw the WHAS11 interview above the reporter gave him numerous times to disavow his supposed prank and only one time after 7 minutes of badgering and coaxing by the reporter did he hint at it being a joke.

Indeed it is a "fabulist, black-is-white inversion of reality". But this is what Sargent et al's real job is: Propagandizing. Their only goal is how to make it more effective i.e. Slogans and Marches are so '08.

Of course they want to create a double standard and we're not going to let it happen. As long as Obama was in Reverend Wright's church and close to his family that will ALWAYS drown out some random tea partier among thousands across the country. That needs to be repeated over and over every time some progressive hack brings up random signs at protests.

Doing so would contradict their goals which unfortunately don't include honest dialogue. Their goal is to get African American, Hispanic and other liberal voting interest groups out to the polls. Obama said it himself: http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0410/Obama...

Even though the NAACP got called out by Big Government it really doesn't matter because unlike Obama in the above link no conservative or Republican politician is going to put out ads try to "reconnect with [older], [white], [religious] [males] to power a [2010] victory".

Doing so would be the "bad" kind of racist pandering as opposed to the "good" kind of racist pandering of the left.
