Nah you're right mate. Listening on the radio isn't the same and you don't see the real picture. My judgement was solely based upon my intent listening and the fact that all the commentators were comparing him to Carew, who seemed to be very menacing in comparison. Maybe I'm being a bit picky, but he has never really done it for me which probably prejudiced my view above. Like you said, I should pass judgement based upon actually seeing his performance. Anyway, it's another win under the belt at home and regardless of anything else, that is what is important, is it not?

Nice summary Braderz. By the sound eminating from the radio, we were by far the better team in the first half and could have probably scored another 2 or 3! Leicester to their credit came back hard in the last 15 - 20 mins and could have drawn it. However, their first goal sounded like appalling defending on the far post. Maybe a bit of complacency on our part, but their second goal sounded like a corker! Baldock for me sounded as if he was getting in behind their defence and causing them all sorts of problems. Carew was being unfairly treated by the ref's poor decisions which I think resulted in the substitution..(I missed that bit for some reason!)
All in all, we got the three points which has got to be the most important thing at the moment. Looking forward to seeing Cole back ASAP so Piq doesn't make the bench. What a waste of time. Glad to see Greeno back and make some game changing saves. Super Greeno. COYI'sssssssssss

Maybe he'd like to retract his letter to the Premier League stating his approval at the potential success of Tottscum ****spur's diabolical attempt at relocating from Haringey into Newham at the OS. Or maybe he'd like to provide some clarification on the london borough borders. I am pretty sure the OS is in Newham and that Orient is in Waltham Forest. We are in seperate boroughs at the moment and will be when we move. If ONE mile or less would make that much of a difference to a club whose support is based upon second club preference as they can't get to away games, then he is more delusional than he makes himself look. He is pissing in the wind and I can't wait for the torrent of rain on his parade to come flooding down..

Now that is a sensible post. Celtic please take note!

Ahhh Celtic, whilst I have (on occassions!) supported some of your ramblings to an extent, your comments here are totally wrong in so many ways.

For a start, the only issue with our bid was the complaint regarding "State Funding" and NOTHING else. (By all accounts anyway) This 'loan' from Newham would have been a favourable one but would still had to have been paid back. Is that State Funding?

Elsewhere, Hearn is screaming about his little club losing out to WHU if we were to have got it and calls this the happiest day of his worthless life? Well for a start, he openly wrote a letter to the Premier League wishing Tottscum every success in their bid for the OS and welcomed their potential neighbourhood-ship. Bloody hypocrite.

Now your bullet dodging statement seems a bit far fetched and based upon what logic, and/ or information you have and so vehemently like to have us all assume?

And your remark about the "Confederacy" as you keep putting it, is again un-substantiated and a bit repetitive. BS has indeed used some strange tactics to say the least, but this long ball crap that is being touted around (why?) doesn't really stack up. Have a read of this - http://www.westhamtillidie.com/2011/10/05/talk-ab...
Now I know it's one of SJ's longest posts, but nonetheless gives a good account of BS and his 'long ball tactics' as you beef about.

And last but not least, if and when we successfully get the OS, I am pretty sure that this annual renewal will be replaced with an ultimately sustainable and structured 25 year minimum lease. Based upon WHU's support from the likes of Westfield, Newham Council and Live Nation, I think that the Government will make sure that the Lease is a favourable one. Most properties be they Housing Association, small business premises or large office buildings do not have rolling annual renewals.

There, that's my rant Celtic.

Not overly worried about the apology from the board Gav, but the silence from them is Golden ;-p They've obviously learned something, like us all, from last season. I've been pretty pleased with everything this season though, even the loss to Cardiff on the opener. You could see the difference in the team straight away. Onwards and upwards ol' son. COYI's

Perfer et obdura; dolor hic tibi proderit olim.

For Scott Parker and his family. It's never easy, and you never forget.

Sorry for your loss.

I have my opinion, and you have yours. And no, it wasn't an insult. I don't need to insult people. And no, you don't know me so you are not my mate. It's a figurative term.
