At first, the title of this book turned me off. I heard Brian but did not listen to his points. I had to stop, rewind and tune into him. My favorite point was, “Become a Creator, Not a Competitor.” Our culture teaches us to compete in every aspect of our lives. One winner and the rest losers. I love the concept that your creation can give everyone something more as a result. We all win. The breakdown of the Latin root of “compete” really says a lot. Love it!

Thanks for your response....I was overwhelmed and froze. I'm used to learning in a very linear method. Letting in as many great ideas and seeing what sticks or hits a special cord will be my new approach. Going back and reviewing is always open. In other words...I'm going to try flying!
Thanks again for your insight. It helped.

Thanks. I think I allowed myself to become overwhelmed and I froze. It actually feels good to open up and let the ideas fly in. I'm used to learning in a linear method. I'm going to do this without a net. As you said...I can go back as often as I want or need. Watch me fly too.

So many great thoughts...soooo fast. I'm becoming concerned about really processing all this wisdom fast enough! I haven't really utilized the lessons from Day 1 and we are on to Day 2. In changing habits and developing new ones it takes some repetition and practice.... How do you recommend we approach this challenge? I want to get the most out of this journey...

This is a good beginning for the 50 day Challenge.
As to the Number 1 thing I got out of this......To raise my awareness of my actions on others, and theirs on me. Too often we interact with others not considering how much we project our center on others and vice versa. These four agreements are tools to help us step back and observe ourselves both in projecting on others and how we recieve their projections on us.
How I plan on using these tools.....I think I will try to break down my days and review what really happened. I don't know how many reviews will be needed....once a day at the end of a day....or short hourly reviews.....I'll have to try several approaches. But if I can raise my awareness of what I do...I have a better chance to understand and select those things I want to change. Maybe break the auto response to react and take a step towards positive selection. It certainly can't hurt to look closer and review my current choices.
