This is a bunch of whoohoo! In the event of an emergency everyone is going to think of themselves! There would be a panic to get out of the plane. Good chance there would be smoke, which woul make most passengers BLIND, maybe seats and debris laying all over, which would make it hard to WALK... and the flight attendents had better be doing their job of HELPING the passengers.
So in the event of a crash there is a good chance a LOT of the passengers would be injuired therefore...well....disabled. They would need to overcome this in an instant if they want to get out of a plane. People with disabilties are used to their problems and want to be as independant as possible. Whos going to have a better chance getting out of that plane?
Love the sunchips! Hate the bag! I cant even get out of the grocery store without the cashier and bagger complaining how noisy it is. Plus I gave up trying to sneak some without my kids knowing....first crinkle they coming running.
They arent releasing the name of the child...but yet he was asked to identfy his attacker in court. He lost his dad and two siblings which would be more then most adults could overcome and he had to go to court and look the scumbag in the eye. That doesnt seem right. I cant believe there wasnt a better way for the state to present their case then by making that child go through that! Poor little guy.
At least he tried to do something..you have to give him credit for that. Too many times you see employees that dont give a darn about the company they work for and arent willing to extend the effort to stand upright let alone protect the business. As far as I'm concerned you can add loyal, and brave to this guys resume.
My family gets a flu shot every year. I cant remember the last time any of us caught the flu. I find it more scary to go to the store and see adults hacking and coughing all over everything and little ones with snot running down their faces then ANY risk of side effects from the actual shot! Parents cant afford to miss work because their child is sick..so they send the kid to school! Adults cant afford to stay home because their sick so off they go to work!!
Maybe if everyone practiced better hygiene and STAYED home when they're sick we wouldnt need the flu shot after all!!!!
Ouch!!! I hope you arent my neighbor.......
It would seem that you dont have a clue to what your talking about. I have a son who has Aspergers and his world is NOTHING like ours! The daily struggles he faces would drive most "normal" people insane...yet he deals with it with a smile on his face and never complains. You can NEVER compare one case of aspergers with another, no two are a like therefore no one can say its "not much of anything"
So a family is now homeless and has lot all of their things...over 75 dollars. Thats heartless!
My heart goes out to the family and friends of this brave solider. Words cant begin to express my family's appreciation for the sacrifrice he and his family has made for our country.
We went today to watch the funeral procession to show our respects and was SHOCKED at how few people bothered to take the time to honor one of our own. We drove half the route before we saw a single person. At the main fire station there was a total of 25 people. Big KUDOS to the elkhart firemen for the outstanding job they did in honoring this brave young man. Seeing them stand at attention under that HUGE American flag brought tears to my eyes.
Rest in Peace Sgt. Marvin Calhoun
That is NO excuse for beating the poor animal and then leaving it alive to suffer until someone else could put it down. Why not call someone to come get it? Why not let someone whos trained and have them put the animal down? But you say it was in denfense of his child?? Was he walking around with a bat in his hand just incase? Or did he hunt it down after the fact. What kind of message does it give your child letting them know you beat an animal ALMOST to death with a baseball bat??
