I never trusted Roger Ebert's reviews after he told me in an internet forum in 1985 (or was it in his famous tweet in 1983 hmm) that 'Popeye' starring Robin Williams was the single most important comedy of our lifetime, so don't feel bad John you are not alone in your pain.

What a great video, I loved it. I in no way am jealous of Celebrities, I enjoy them (If they are indeed talented and not just famous for being famous). I just wish that like me, they wouldn't belittle or think less of someone who disagrees with them.
If Politics were WWF I would put all my money on a tag team of Rush and Newt Gingrich to be basically champions for life in any debate on any idea. There isn't a Democrat that can match those two minds, throw in Charles Krauthamer and clearly you see that the Conservative side has an wide array of deep thinkers. So I second your thought.

But will this current form of media still be in existence by 2016? I don't think that Palin should run for 2012 but by 2016 she will have had almost a decade of time to learn and have banked years of political currency since she was treated like the media's red headed stepchild. The route that the media is taking right now is a nose dive into the Marianas Trench if they keep splitting the cultural divide the way they are now. When two kids expose one of the biggest stories of the decade and no one in the journalist community was brave enough, it's just another crack in their castle walls. But we shall see, perhaps you are right and I am to optimistic with society.
If Ronald Reagan can over come a movie where a monkey was his co-star than given enough time to refine her political game and gain more knowledge she can easily get her "monkey" off her back and Fey will be as much an after thought as Bozo was for Reagan.
