I like the top navigation much better than it was before. Good job! There are a few things in the casino parts that isn't consistent. For instance it is called "Demo play" in one place and "Play For fun" under tain casino. I'd also think you could use the real estate on the casino start page a little bit better. Now you have the same navigation in two places (Instant Games). But maybe I'll redesign that in an upcoming "redesign in 20 minutes" :)

Hi,
thanks for your comment.

I am really surprised that software developing companies haven't been building platforms and services making it easier for operators to add content to their portals. I still haven't seen any gaming portal having done a decent job when it comes to personalisation. Personalisation is one topic I will cover in my one-day workshop "Gaming Portals of the Future", <a href="http://www.use.se/future/" target="_blank">www.use.se/future/

Hi Cory-Ann.

I do absolutely believe that there is room for UX in the igaming industry. Many gaming companies haven't been paying much attention to UX because they have been making lots of money without having to look at user needs.
But I know that many of the big players have UX teams and are starting to give them the mandate to make a change. It will be inevitable in the end. The ones with the best player experience will be the ones making the most money. Just look at Full Tilt and their Rush Poker. It is a completely new game that many players will try and enjoy playing. It will be interesting to talk to the industry next week in London at ICEi.

Hi Matt,

thanks for your comment. I hadn't thought about the options you talked about. Thanks for brining those to the table. A smaller button or just a link for the "Fold" option would work better then. And to be consistent in the alert, positioning the options in the same way as below. I'll update my post with another version which keeps the "Fold" button.
Regards

Hi Mike,
thank you for your reply. The news site looks really good, I like the use of different colors which makes the site more alive.
The solution for hidding and showing sports looks good as well, it will be interesting to see how it works when used together with placing bets.
