You're actually wrong. What the Yankees sell as "batter's eye seats" are the ones on top of the Mohegan Sun Sports Bar. They don't sell any seats for tables behind that section.

I don't have any firsthand knowledge of those seats, unfortunately.

Perhaps ask on my current blog http;//nyystadiuminsider.com and someone else can answer?

Pretty sure you are good in section 105.

Be sure to check out NYYStadiumInsider.com and ask the question there - that is the current site, the one you posted this comment on is now defunct.

Thanks!

Steve,

I experienced this happen to someone in the next section over, number 111, row 30. Exact same story as you, except they weren't even offered any other seats (even if they paid), because they had bought their tickets on Stubhub.  The worst part was that most of the seats in front of them were empty because of the long rain delay and inclement weather in the forecast. Unfortunately, the stadium security and supervisors are completely rigid in their rules not allowing people to move to seats other than their own, so this person was out of luck.  They spent hundreds of dollars on the tickets and ended up "watching" the game from behind a wheelchair section filled with security guards and police officers blocking their view (not to mention the railings).

I actually plan on writing an expose on this on my bloghttp://nyystadiuminsider.com  As you can see, this is my old blog, and I have since moved to nicer digs.  Please check out the new blog - I'll be sure to include your story there!
