For starters, I would like to see some Congressional caps. They should only be allowed to receive the median wage for civil servants in the state they represent plus the median wage for civil servants in DC. Also, they should have to pay for all of their own meals and daily transportation. Meals shoul be charged at fair market value (no steak and lobster for $6.00). They should be limited to four events per month that they can attend for charities and publicity with a maximum $250/plate fee. Any other events or additional expenses should be paid out of their own pockets. They should be limited to two trips per month from DC to their home state on a business class ticket. They should only be allowed to purchase up to four extra business class tickets at half price for family/friends while travelling. All other fares should be paid out of their own pockets. The wealth of their constituents will reflect their raises. If the median salary goes up in their district, they get a raise -- if it goes down, their salaries decrease.

It's people like you who try to drown out the voices of those who speak with good intentions by attacking them with an onslaught of nasty, belittling, insults.
