I bet 99.9 percent of you had even heard of Piven before Beck pulled her from obscurity and turned thousands against her with his inciteful rhetoric. Obviously her 45-year-old theories and beliefs have only been shared by a small audience and have not led to any changes in society. So what harm has she really done?

Thoughts and ideas aren't a crime - yet. This isn't "1984," Beck. Your fatwa is putting this woman's life in danger and is endangering your freedom, Beck.

The gunman, Byron Williams, was on his way to the Tides Foundation office and an ACLU chapter last summer. Luckily he was captured en route after a shootout with California lawmen, or we would have had another Tuscon massacre.

The reason you didn't hear about it is because the gunman, who considered Beck his guru, failed to carry out his evil plan. Here's a link:

How will this site react if she's killed?

Wait. Don't bother. I already know.

Dupnik never initially called out the Right. He said violent rhetoric helped lead to this tragedy. Yet the Right got indignant. Why? Guilty consciences?

Beck thinks he's some kind of Nazi-hunter. But he doesn't know when to quit. His rants against the obscure Tides Foundation nearly got everyone killed there by a crazed, armed Beck fan last summer. Now Piven. If she's killed, Beck's going to prison. He needs to tone it down before another crazed Beck fan carries out his fatwa against Piven.

Krugman is an economist, professor of Economics and International Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, Centenary Professor at the London School of Economics, and an op-ed columnist for The New York Times., He also won the Nobel prize for his theories on New Trade Theory and New Economic Geography.

I'll take his "logic" over that of a hack who has lowered himself to write nonsense at this hate-filled site for the bigoted and universally derided and despised - and soon to be sued into oblivion - Andrew Breitbart.

PLEASE run in 2012 and win the nomination, Sarah! Obama would win a record 65-70 percent of the vote, and the coattail effect of such a landslide would give the House back to the Democrats. The GOP might even disintegrate amid the fallout from such a rout.

So SEIU protesters are thugs when they gather to speak out about another small business-destroying Wal-Mart, but tea partiers are patriots when they assemble?

Palin just had her Army-McCarthy moment. Her presidential hopes are gone.

Some are already claiming she was "set up" by the GOP to make her stupid comments today, because they know she doesn't understand what she's saying. They probably could have made her say "I like-a do da cha-cha" as Steve Carell did when he read the teleprompter in "Bruce Almighty."

She can now go live in Alaska and fade into obscurity.
