I'm all for a wired state, but it is NOT the government's job to do it for us. A grass roots effort would mean the PEOPLE do it themselves and not rely on any funding from Hussein's so-called stimulus package. Once you allow them control of the network they will put restrictions everywhere.

Sean79, the entertainment industry is getting money out of the stimulus package, which is extremely lame, but that doesn't give us the right to steal their music or movies as teachem says. I wish people would realize that if we continue to steal the music and movies that people will no longer be interested in performing for us. Who wants to perform for free? I wouldn't except for special circumstances.
People should just stop stealing music. Period. If the artist wants their music free then it will be free. If not then go buy it.
