I'd just as soon see a turbine as a cell phone tower. Especially if it was on our farm and all the 5 family houses on the farm got free electricity in return for the tower being placed on our ridge top. I've often wondered why they are white. Would they not blend more with the surroundings if they were painted brown or green? I watched a very interesting show a couple of nights ago about truckers hauling the turbines from Southern and Northwestern states to be constructed in I think it was Nebraska. Very interesting.
