I live 25 miles from the courthouse and so I understand the inconvenience. I also understand that while it is inconvenient, it might solve some problems like Acorn. Unless you move a lot, you only have to register once. You don't have to register every year. Unless Texas law is different than Utah law.

I have asked this question once, but I don't think it is on this site and i would like to get your responses.

I keep wondering what happened to the controversy over Obama's citizenship. The last I heard, they were checking into that and then I have never heard the results. I really have to wonder why this is not a requirement to throw your hat in the ring. That should just be one of the requirements before they can even be considered as a candidate. PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, and a background check to make sure that the birth certificate is legitimate.

So, I'm really wanting to know why we can't prove that he is not a citizen and remove him from office? Or did i miss something?

if anyone has an answer to that question, I'd like to know.

This would actually eliminate Acorn. And it would also require that the person registering to vote, understands the importance of doing so and is committed enough to actually make the effort to get to the courthouse to register. Those who don't get it, or are not interested or don't understand the importance of being a part of the country they live in, would not bother to register. That would actually leave the voting to those who understand the importance of freedom and the constitution.

I'm sorry, I tried to download the letter and clicked on the link. It took me to a page that was basically blank. Said I needed to create a new search. Is this supposed to actually take me to a letter to download?

I actually like the idea that you have going here. It would actually be great to have our candidates (those already in office and those that will be running in the future) realize that we are serious about these principles.
