Dan had talent, Antonio had schpeel. Smoke and mirrors "decorating" that has no class! Who gives a #hit about THAT kind of decorating? I don't! I WANT TALENT, INTENT, DESIGN, RHYTHM, THOUGHT, PATTERN,...someone like Dan, Candace, Vern. I will not watch a B.S. show like TRICK MY HOUSE by Antonio. 'I dunno whad-I'm doin', I jus know how duh do it and hope ya' like it.' Gag me.

Ah, Antonio can definitely give you the 'Trick My House' theme. He won't be able to tell you squat and he'll decorate it from Hobbit Town furniture. Only the Town House Cracker crew will feel comfortable. Get real. He's no designer.

You come across sounding like character Brittany Wilson in 'White Chicks', the movie. Are you for real?

Patience, dear, the "pergola" incidence is equally Antonio's fault. Antonio was present, too, and there was a clear statement made of how much was needed. I can tell you this, they do not give these "design stars" time to be frugal, that's for sure! They need to come up with a show on how to be really FRUGAL, because there's no way in hell I would have ever paid more than $3,000 tops for that pergola for wood and labor installed! I would have found a carpenter to build that for me on site. There are a lot of carpenters out of work in our neck of the woods here in Florida and they would have still made a profit. My brother's a carpenter and builder and I am a realtor and investor, so I have a very good idea of prices.

This was my last Design Star Show. I only watched because I thought Candace Olsen and Vern would deliver an honest title. The only show that Antonio will deliver can deliver is a show that will be along the lines of "Trick My House". OMG. What did we learn by seeing his room the other night? NOTHING. We want a 'sure bet' designer. I don't WANT to GO ONLINE TO DAN. I want to see Dan on TV. DAN DESERVES to be coached and given a chance, doggone it! Dan's THE REAL DEAL DESIGNER with REAL ARTISTIC SKILLS AND KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING AND CAN TELL US WHY. Antonio has ideas and LABOR SKILLS (as do so many other shows) but HE DOES NOT KNOW WHY he does what he does (by his own admission) or know he elbow for his big toe. I am not impressed or entertained by Antonio's personality. I am not looking to HGTV for comedy. I am a hair DESIGNER, with 35 years of COLOUR SKILLS, and a REALTOR, and ENTREPRENEUR. I know talent when I see it and so should HGTV & the "judges". Are they afraid of competition?

AllyK, you're my kind of gal. At least my 50 year old tummy wasn't the only sick one in viewing land. This was my first and last Design Star Show. YOU are so right: DAN WAS ROBBED BLIND.
