Here is my question about Terra Nova (I forgot it was coming on so I didn't watch) Of all the times in the eons of Earth history to RESTART society, why in the name of all that's same and reasonable would you go to the time with the most dangerous carnivores ever? Sure I love dinos in movies and all, but that's just dumb.
Correction I looked it up AFTER I posted, there doesn't seem to be a law/rule against it, but the providers are refusing to do it. And congress is in no hurry to intervene. Here is what I found. Looks like the MOUSE is a heavyweight against a la carte.

The cable companies had congress put in some arcane FCC law to prevent A La Carte programing for this very reason. They want to force us, the consumers to pay for as much programming as they can weasel us into. The basic packages just got more and more expensive, you cant even get basic cable in my area without a set top box. More crony capitalism at work. The federal government should not be involved in what channels we get or how those channels are packaged. And TRUST, as soon as that law/rule came off the books, there would be a dozen or so providers jumping up to provide the service the way most people want it.
