After reading any your comments, I always wonder how fat or old you are. All it seems you do is sit on your computer having anonymous arguments, not having regular sex with an attractive partner must suck.

I don't own a mountain cabin but, hypothetically, if I did and someone broke into it to get out of a storm I wouldn't really mind, unless they did more damage then it took to just get out of the storm. Survival is a human instinct, and luckily she found shelter. If you were in her situation, wouldn't you do the same thing?

Being fat and/or ugly must suck.

How much harder would it have been to just type the city name instead of "than in the city of 300,000 from which I moved"?

I don't hate mountain bikes, I own one actually, I hate the mountain bikers that make the rest of us look like heartless pricks or little b#tches. Seriously this isn't the right forum to be complaining about something so petty as who can use what trail, two men were stabbed and one of them died. There is something wrong if you can come to this guys defense, and other people give it thumbs up, when he basically said it was good that these men were stabbed and are off the streets because it will now be more peaceful downtown. Give me as many thumbs down as you want, it just shows how many people consider mountain bike access more important then human lives.

Anna you're extremely brave and what you're doing is definitely going to have a positive effect on the way others victims handle their own trauma. It's so wrong that the majority of rape crimes are committed by someone close to the victim, if only these predators could understand the psychological implications of their assault. You are a much stronger person then this coward and I hope you know that. And to anyone else that has ever been a victim, just know that there are people who want to and can help you recover. Rape is something that should never happen, and it was not your fault.

Rape is one of the worst crimes you can commit. Yet 3 years is pretty normal for a juvenile who commits rape (juvenile murderers can only get a maximum of 7 years.) Hopefully they also sentenced him to intensive therapy or there is a decent chance he could re offend someday, especially if he has assaulted other women before.

Since this has happened to me, being almost knocked off a trail by a biker (who had headphones on and didn't even slow down or stop) while walking with my friend and her puppy, I'll give you a little advice. These sort of experiences, whether 1st hand or the story of a friend, stick with people. And when pro mountain bikers are building secret trails that disturbs eagle nesting and destroy the natural environment, the dog and nature loving people of Boulder aren't going to feel any warmer towards bikers or their "needs".

Thanks and very true that it's dangerous for children and pets. I've never really understood people that ride bikes in snow storms, it's one thing about Colorado that's always confused me.
