Your probably going to have to put it in DFU mode and restore it, turn the iphone on even though it stops halfway then plug it in with your USB cord to the computer , now power down the iPhone and as soon as the screen goes black hold down the power and home buttons at the same time for 10 seconds then let go of the power button ONLY and keep holding the home button for another 10 seconds then your device should now show up on itunes and it will give you the option to restore it.

I'm a AT&T user but here's some advice for everybody having weird issues with the 3.0 iPhone 3G jailbreak. You should try using Pwnage Tool 3.0 (available only for Mac) instead of Redsnow (For Windows) trust me its much better. I ran into a couple of issues with my iPhone 3G when I used Redsnow (For Windows) to jailbreak it, but after I restored it and jailbroke it with Pwnage Tool 3.0 (available only for Mac) my iPhone never gave me any problems. If you don't have a Mac computer I suggest you find a friend or family member who does and use it. Once you've done that and you wish to Unlock it, you can then get and install Ultrasnow on your iPhone from Cydia. Hope this helps you all, thanks Dev Team you guys are awesome! Enjoy!
