I think that G W was the man that we needed at the time if for no other reason that he understood the entire situation and was willing to "bite the bullet" for our defense. I will take his swaggar anytime to the current metrosexual male syndrome that is currently permeating the current political scene. Yes, he didn't do everything correctly, he tried to be a little to bi-partisan (Kennedy bill etc.), but history will judge him better than people are currently attributing to him, that he was a true gentleman, he is honest , has a deep respect and admiration of and for his country
