This is unbelievable. I read a book which had all these scenarios in it; but it was written in the 1940's or 50's!!! Although she was an atheist, I read with great interest the book "Atlas Shrugged" because she harshly exposes socialism/communism through her wonderful fiction book--a classic and best-seller for over 50 years!

Read "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand this summer. Buy it! It's a long book and it will quickly become overdue at your library. Trust me: you will love this book. Especially great for vacation! My 20-year old couldn't put it down, nor could my husband! The writing is phenomenal: on a scale of 1 to 10, Ayn Rand's writing is a 20. Character development is superb--I mean superb. The story is basically: Looters versus Producers. Looters destroy country in every way possible: technically, financially, morally, etc. Producers keep trying to work within the system. Producers confront their own internal conflicts. Looters go on looting the people. Chaos ensues. Producers Disappear to a secret location where they can produce happily. Looters Collapse Country. And then the COOL ENDING!!! The author Ayn Rand escaped from Russia when she was a young lady and knew firsthand what collectivism led to; her own dad's store was destroyed by the communists. Relatives starved; people grew despairing and depressed with the nightmare of living with "equality" under redistribution. Get informed. Get active politically. Read original history documents. Read "Common Sense" by Glenn Beck. Read Hannity's "Road to Victory" book, and help in the elections in your town. Work for your most conservative, morally good, fiscally smart candidate. And above all, pray without ceasing. Pray for these frightening people to be exposed in every way possible. God is not mocked: whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap. It is a certainty. Every evil leader eventually came to a very bad end. Nero, Hitler, and an endless list of tyrants . . .

The American spirit is alive and well as seen in these comments. We are awake, alert, vigilant, reading our Constitution, and many books: such as The Five Thousand Year Leap, the Bible, the Bill of Rights, Original Intent, The Real George Washington, Atlas Shrugged, Common Sense by Glenn Beck (fabulous), (Hannity's) Road to Victory, and many, many more GREAT books. Get to know the original founders' documents yourself. Google "original source" history documents and READ them. You MUST read these documents to be well informed. We have been lied to for many years: first by public schools, then the media. The jig is up. The"socialist plan" was to take over the Democratic Party, and they did it. Socialism is just the first step to actual communism; they have been stealthily infiltrating our government, our universities, our high schools, community colleges, media, and we were all asleep. Now Jim Wallis, self-professed communist (PBS interview) is trying the takeover of the churches through leftist poverty guilt talk through the "deconstructed" emergent church. "Social justice" = communism, people! Reject it soundly. Reading and sharing is the key, following by VOTING ALL SOCIALIST LOOTERS OUT!!!!
