Oh yeah!! Imagine that backvourt Wall and Evans wow. I think we are a team that when we get the players necessarry and we get older we'll compete for the title every year. We have a great core Martin,Evans,Thompson,Hawes. I am very excited for this next season to see if we can at the very least compete
I am a big Curry fan! However, he does not fit the kings well at all. We need a true PG like Jonny Flynn or Ricky Rubio. A playmaker is what the kings need a guy who has the ability to play defense and find the open man
I think it has to be Jonny Flynn. He brings everything to the table. Tyreke Evans has all the physical tools to be a good PG in the league but the thing that concerns me is his leadership abilities. I am not sold that he can lead a group of men. I know Flynn can he has showed that. Flynn is a natural 1, with great quicks, a decent jumper and can be a great defender. He is a passer first and is willing to do anything to help the team win.
Curry didnt make every one around him better..haha thats funny. He made that whole team better no doubt. I am tired of people saying he is just a scoring PG. He averaged 6 assists a game in his first year running the point. I mean yeeah he is a lethal shooter but he can do so much more
Stephen Curry does not compare to JJ or Adam Morrison. Stephe can do so many more things with the ball in his hand. JJ was an undersized SG coming out and Adam Morrison lacked the athletiscm necesessary to produce at the next level. Curry is a 6"3 PG. He is Deadly from behing the arc has an exeptional mid range game, and showed he was capable of taking it to the cup last year at Davidson
I have one problem with your post, and that is traiding down to get avg, players. We need a face to the franchise.A great player not just a good one with the 4th pick. I would love to say Kevin Martin is that guy but I am just not 100% sold that he can lead a team.
agreed! he is electric with the ball in his hand, and showed last year that he can distribute the rock
Curry isnt wokring out with us before the draft.. hes working out with the bobcats, knicks and one ohter team(not us)
You are right, he didnt have an impressive tournament, there is no doubt about that. Also look at the body of work though he led his team to 2nd place finish in the Pac-10 and he was really all they had. He isnt a great rebounder but a capable one. His defense isnt great but it can and will get better.
Evans and Harden, Now I am starting to get excitted
