My sister-in-law's "About Me" starts out "I live each day in the hope of honoring my ALMIGHTY FATHER!"

One of my cousins went to a private Christian school that did not have an Easter Vacation or a Spring Break...they had a "Resurrection Holiday".

Ours was a guy named Glenn who had blond hair and a mustache. He was the younger brother-in-law of the youth pastor. He recently friended me on Facebook and has since become a raving conservative nutcase. This makes me unaccountably sad.

In the Catholic church I attend, we hold hands during the Our Father every week. These rules are spot on, especially the one about intertwining fingers. Don't. Do. That. I love you in Christ, dude, but I'm not playing finger hockey during the Our Father.

Have you ever noticed that the Duggars have the side hug DOWN? I've never seen anyone in that family give a frontal hug. Not even among siblings, and for real, if you are so afraid of bodily contact that you won't even wrap your arms around your own blood sister, something is very wrong with your Word.

I was raised in the Assembly of God church and a few years ago I converted to Catholicism. Last year my husband and I belonged to a "Couples for Christ" group at church, and there was a guy who opened every meeting with prayer. The first time I heard him pray I told my husband "That guy used to be a Protestant fundie." My husband, a cradle Catholic, wanted to know how I could tell. I said "Simple. He started the prayer with 'Lord, we just ask you to bless this gathering...'" My husband thought I was crazy but I knew the minute that word came out of his mouth. LOL
