I understand your suggestion and see how that would be better than the current conditions. I just think ad campaigns for the most part are worthless BS and I'd like to just see a candidate face to face answer real questions that WE have instead of spreading perfectly framed "poster shots" of himself. I really appreciate your response and I definitely agree with the 6 months or less campaigns!!!!

NO MORE LITIGATORS AS LEGISLATORS! Let our representatives be people who have to come back home after their "TERM LIMIT" and face us with the decisions they made. Let us never again elect someone who uses that sacred office as nothing but a stepping stone to a better salary!

NO MORE POLITICAL ADVERTISING! DEBATES ONLY WITH NO PRE-FED QUESTIONS! The candidate will have no choice but to answer from his beliefs. He might be more apt to "say what he means and mean what he says". Campaign ads have turned into a huge joke (ON US)! If we went back to the day of debates only with citizen-posed questions this would solve an astronomical amount of problems. Huge campaign contributions (with huge special interest pay-backs) would no longer be necessary since all candidates would be traveling only around their own district/state. Even the presidential candidate funds could be a fraction of what they are now by having one or two meetings per state in the months prior to the election. In this forum the "people" would be spreading the word about the truths they heard at the debates and maybe, just maybe we could move away from "Rock Star" elections!
