I agree, don't accept their apology. It's as worthless as an Obama campaign promise. Insincere, manipulative, and said with a veiled disrespect for the audience.

I think the answer to your first question has been answered, the political middle has deserted Obama. The people that support our current leadership are irrelevant since without moderates they don't have a majority. No point in educating people that are so far gone. Just respect their differences and remember their true colors the next time they talk about tolerance.

Your second question, regrettably, is still open. Although I think Sarah Palin will generate a lot of turnout for the lucky congressmen and Senators that she campaigns for.

Whether she runs for President or not, Sarah Palin is one of the top voices for conservative values today. Values that are held by the majority of our citizens but are completely foreign to our current administration and its sycophants in congress.

I like especially her statement that today's debt is immoral and is generational theft. That point needs to be repeated and she's the person to do it.

I see your point, I would say that Burt's reference to the Iron Curtain is apt. Where the Soviet Union enslaved free people with border guards facing the wrong way (inward), Obama and his goons have enslaved us with 9 trillion in debt that our childrens' children will be paying for.

Awfully hard to to leave the cocoon of big government when generations of our economy and labor will go to service this spending.
