I also lived in Russia for 2 years with my husband. I am (and especially my husband) very familiar with socialism/communism, etc. We (America) are well on our way to that end. Very frustrating that other (libs) don't see what is coming.

Does anyone else feel frustrated? Does anyone else feel like calling/writing to our congressmen/senators is NOT making any difference? I feel so frustrated! I feel like they obviously don't care what WE think or want. We can vote some of them out next year - BUT WHAT ABOUT NOW? Please reply.

Gauf - I and my husband share your feelings. We, too would like very much to participate in a march on Washington but cannot financially. We feel completely helpless and not sure what we could do. Writing/calling representatives and senators seems futile. They don't care. I don't know if we (America) can wait until elections in 2010. Does anyone have any ideas?

Clint - I like your post and it makes sense - my husband and I would be considered one of the poor. We make only about $24K /year gross. However, we are VERY much against Obama's agenda and are doing everything we can to speak out.
