I've sure seen most of that list here in WI recently. One really caught my eye- Shut down schools, bring legislative process to a halt, tie up the courts, extort businesses, try to overturn elections … and then say “this is what democracy looks like.”

Quite frequently there have been protesters downtown with signs and yelling "This is what democracy looks like". It began at the start of Governor Walkers budget proposal and has continued on and off since. My answer to them is really? Democracy is running away, ignoring the voters and refusing to consider anything but the special interest groups that donate money to you? Sadly, a lot of people fall for these tactics.

What is especially great is that even as he is destroying you, all the economic problems are your fault. Even though he is making it impossible to do business, he wags his finger at you and tells you to start spending and hiring now and stop being so greedy. As long as he is president, you lose and eventually we all lose.

Great article. I live in Wisconsin and had been planning a blog post related to compulsory union membership dues and the upcoming judicial election. I think I will just back away from the keyboard and give it up. I couldn't possibly lay out the facts better than this!

The unions are fighting for their lives. As bad as Madison was a few weeks ago with the union protests, it is only going to get uglier. The Democrats will have even more money and muscle behind them for upcoming elections because the unions know it is do or die time for them.

Just try to convince me that her ruling is based on interpretation of law instead of her own personal feelings!
