so while she is charged with multiple narcotic thefts, and her husband, a Loveland police officer, is also under investigation on allegations of third-degree assault and child abuse, who is protecting the child? what a sad, sad family situation...i pray they all get the help that they need, and that the child is safe.

The recent survey done which our local law enforcement officers answered showed low morale and major dissatisfaction with those in charge, surely they had lots to say! Did Chief Luke Hecker issue a 'gag order' on his own department?
We have 'No Trespassing' signs and 'No Soliciting' signs on our property, and even with the ordinance we get solicitors on a regular basis. This displeases me, as my husband is disabled and it is difficult to answer the door, and we also worry about our safety. We have put up with it, but if this ordinance is no longer there to protect us, being that we have these signs up can we get the names of the solicitors and press charges? The City might be concerned about law suits, we are concerned about our safety and quality of life.

Where in the 2nd amendment does it say that you have the right to have fun with guns or have the right to bear arms for recreation? Teaching responsibility and target practice are what gun clubs are for. Recreational outdoor shooting is too dangerous anymore, given the increased population. Safety issues, wildfires are started, the litter is shameful, and there is also the noise factor. I love to hike, and I hope that my right to my pursuit of happiness is not going to be taken away because of safety, noise, litter, and blight.
I find it very sad that so much time and money are being spent on this, when there are so many other priorities and issues that need to be addressed.
coroner says this was a suicide...could it have been an accidental self inflicted fatal gunshot wound due to the scuffle? if he had life insurance, this could mean a big deal...
suicide, or accidentally shooting himself during the scuffle? that's a tough thing to prove i would think.
