The only real threat from the Taliban is to Opium production, which has increased drasticaly every year for the past 7 years, The Taliban cut production in 2000 and we invaded in 2001, don't believe it check it out! aint no conspiracy! it's a fact. Obama doesn't get any support talking like M.L.K. but acting like Bush, Obama compromise's with a right wing that will harm him no matter what he does. And by doing so loses the support of the people who voted for him. He is becoming a lame duck, and it is deserving.

This was a good article! I lived through these times, and was amazed to see how Walter Cronkite managed ride the fence and promote his mythical image as a truth teller at the time. You have to give it him, He adeptly managed to fool most of his audience, and thats really what his profession is about.
