Hooagh, Andraen & Billy Ray, despite your hyper-ventilation, the question remains: WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF HOMICIDAL ARAB/MUSLIM HOSTILITY TO THE UNITED STATES?

The most obvious and logical answer is U.S. support of Israel which is roundly hated and despised by the entire Muslim World because of Israel's theft of Palestinian land and barbaric treatment of Arab/Palestinian/Muslims. Israel's theft of land and barbaric treatment cannot be denied. Neither can the Palestinian's brutality in retaliation. But as an American, all that should be the problem of Palestine and Israel, not the United States.

Why the hell should old ladies in Peoria be strip-searched at the airport because of the Israel's theft of Palestinian land?

When well-educated people like this (and some of the 9/11 terrorists) become proud suicide bombers of Americans, we need to do more than try to kill the suicide bombers and their supporters - and we very much need to do that. More fundamentally, we need to determine precisely what it is that turns them into suicide bombers and then deal with that by the most expeditious means possible.

Many Arab/Muslims obviously hate Americans because of U.S. support of Israel and Israel's mistreatment of Palestinian Arab/Muslims. If this is the fundamental cause of Islamic terrorism, we need to face it and deal with it forthrightly.

Teddy killed not only Mary Jo Kopechne. He also "killed" the United States as we knew it with his 1965 Immigration "Reform" Act that allowed Third World immigrants to flood in , replacing European immigrants to the U.S. Thus, we now have a mindless Third World United States in the making, but with an increasing majority for Teddy's Democrat Party, which is all that really seems to matter to Teddy's ilk. God help us!

Juvenile! Wishful thinking. Silly. The fact is, the European Jews didn't fight at all until they got to Palestine where they could butcher the Arabs wholesale, almost with impunity. Any German or anyone else who thinks this is a serious piece of work is obviously a blathering idiot.

John Bolton should keep his obscene mouth shut. If it were left to him, he and his neocon buddies wouild have us in a war with Iran right now. Isn't he brave to push for war when he never served in the armed forces and is beyond the age to do so? His prime allegiance is to Israel. Everything he says is geared to that - and that's a dead end.

You don't have to agree with Chavez economics to know that he is on to something - 27 families controlling a large chunk of the media in Venezuela. Sort of like control of the media in the good ole U S of A, isn't it?

The Feds should also go after the makers of C-PAP machines paid for by Medicare, many of which are intentionally and needlessly designed to require frequent replacement parts like filters, masks, water containers, etc. and for which exhorbitant prices are charged Medicare.

Drop Frank Lautenberg on Iran instead and see how brave he is then. Talk is cheap, particularly when you're talking about exposing others to loss of life because of your rants. We've had enough of the Frank Lautenbergs - and Israel.

Sadly, Cronkite was a deceiver. He was an ultra liberal in camouflage.

Hang in there for us, Pat. I only hope your assessment of the changed US-Israeli relationship is borne out by coming events.
