I was a kid when E.T. came out, and despite his benevolent presence, I can still vividly remember the nightmares that he gave me. Crazy ass nightmares involving me with long hair, soda cups, mailboxes, and God knows what else.

As hesitant as I am about any new Nic Cage projects, I can't help but hold a soft spot for the star of one of my top films Adaptation.

Why haven't I seen a mention of Sidney Lumet either? BTW, I second the atrocious decision making behind putting Apatow, Favreau, and Snyder. The latter directors are good right now, but they still need to put more quality films under their belt before they can qualify for a "best of" list.

Holy crap, the animation looks very slick. I'm still amazed that WB is going the extra mile to make this into a separate film. I'm looking forward to the eventual integration into the full movie.
