Mike Huckabee is a liberal in conservative clothing. I wouldn't vote for him if he was running for janitor.

Now, I've been trying to think of a idea a liberal might like. I think I've got it. Let's make a law against "assault" rifles. You know, the ones that work the same as any other rifle but look like military rifles. That would solve our problems for sure !

I've got a idea. Vote for conservative politicians and conservative judges that will enforce our existing laws and keep criminals in jail where they belong.

Enacting new laws won't change a thing if they're not enforced.

Recently I've thought that maybe it's time to take back our streets. A WELL ARMED citizen group could stop at any street corner where the gangsters hang out and have a chat with them on the benefits of getting a job and going to church.

Another possibility is we could grow some Oak trees and plant them on street corners around the town. A few good old fashioned lynchings might improve things.

The last option I can think of is to elect some conservative judges and conservative politicians who would keep criminals in jail where they belong. Guess that's too much to hope for.

Welfare programs are more important than our safety, more important than the safety of our police officers. Keep on voting for liberal politicians if that's the way you want to live.

I don't have a tree this year because I'm alone and their will be no presents. I do have my Nativity out to help keep me focused on the real meaning of Christmas.

I do feel families need trees, real ones. If you can't afford one I'd be calling my church and asking for help. Christmas is all about showing our families we love them. Trees are an important part of the celebration.

I know it's wrong to be bitter but I can't help but be jealous. A convicted killer is going to have a much better Christmas than me. No, I guess I said that wrong. I'll get through the day by reading my Bible, trying to keep my mind on the true meaning of Christmas.

My only present will be a card from my son (out of state).

In a previous comment I was shocked at all the negative replies. I didn't realzie I would be dealing with a bunch of liberal, psuedo intellectual druggies.

I want to tell you all it's not me you need to impress. Someday, if you claim to belive in him or not you will get to face God and explain your drug use to him. The Bible has many references to drunkards but I'm sure God will be glad to hear your story.

Christ would have a glass of wine with dinner but he was strongly against getting drunk. I'd be curious to hear if ANYONE of you druggies ever have just a small hit of grass before dinner or is the purpose of smoking to get high?

Just had to reply to a least one of you druggies. When I made my post I had forgotten that Seattle is famous for it's old hippies that never grew up.

I did a lot wrong as a parent. Did spend $9000.00 on rehab when he was caught selling drugs to a cop but that's beside the point. Your note was a perfect example of today's "I'm not responsible for myself - it's somebody elses fault"

Drugs are for losers. Period. Get a job and go to church. Maybe you'll grow up someday.
