If you live in San Fran find a large enough group of like minded individuals and change the law, that is the beauty of our system of government ( when it is working correctly) if you do not like how things are woking out, either convince enough people that you are right or move someplace that better suits the way you want to live.

I agree whole heartedly, the Tenth amendment even spells out their power to this, " The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, Or to the people." As long as the loonies don't abridge a right spelled out in the Constitution they should be free to live in whatever hell they make for themselves.
