It appears to be ALL ABOUT THE MONEY and world prestige POWER. Follow the investments. Gore came up with the brilliant idea to make money, and look like world leaders and saviors at the same time and Pelosi and many others investing in solar, etc. jumping on board. I don't think they liked that Bush made money on oil and decided to stop the oil - drilling and all and force people into their investments SOLAR, etc. However, shutting down the natural coal mines, and refusing to even consider drilling in our own yards - costs Americans in much higher electric, gas expenses reaching all the way to the grocery store. Watch for the new laws they are trying to pass forcing you into their investments such as to invest thousands to keep and maintain solar on your roof, at a much higher cost than electricity, but profits them.
It should be illegal to use political positions to pass laws forcing people to buy into their investments when they are employed by the people! It appears to be clearly unethical to say the least as well as a conflict of interest. It stems on being rather arrogant to even think man has such power over the universe and the natural changes that occur in the earth! As others have said; it is not about science or man made global warming - it is a new man made religion - looking for more money and power over the world - a little at a time - even if it takes a trick or two, here and there!
I am all for green and clean; but if they were sincere, wouldn't it make more sense to encourage the people to go green by cutting prices or making prices reasonable for people to afford solar (starting one person at a time) instead of prices hiking on the GW agenda and seeking power and money through world governments?
