Those are great trades and profitable jobs, but why does the government need to give the loans? Why can't a private bank offer the student loans?

Like they used to back in the 2000's

Bottom line is: The federal government should not be making student loans.

Further, no one should be making or backing up student loans for Majors in: English, liberal Arts, Political Science, Art history, Theater, or Sociology. They are a waste of time and if you wish to pursue it you should do so on your own dime.

Of course, I wouldn't make a law against it (not governments role either way).

Sorry Nolte, I am not that forgiving. Even if he served his time, I would still rank him with all the other pedophiles and rapists that no one in Hollywood should do business with. It amazes me that Hollywood can hold this guy, and Mike Tyson (both rapists) in such high regard. Other people Hollywood loves: Charlie Sheen, Andy Dick, Amy Winehouse, Lindsay Lohan.

But to them the teaparty are the scumbags!!

Neither Dodge nor Chrysler are GM, Both are owned by Chrysler.

Michael should have fired that Bobyguard for assualting the man after he had coffee thrown in this face. He should have instead asked the man kindly to disarm his remaining stockpiles of coffee grounds and creamers, then assumed he had and went on his way.

Retailiating with force after the man was no longer a threat seems a bit ....cowboyish.

As a Connecticut resident I can tell you that the general feeling here is that there is NO WAY this deal saves 1.6B.

Malloy is trying to say that a two year wage freeze (which isn't really a wage freeze since they ended the furlough from last year), attrition, other "cost saving measures" and "a suggestion box" on ways union workers can suggest for the state to save money will save us 800M per year for 2 years.

I hate this state.....so very loney......
