Just when you thought our city council couldn't get any dumber!

We should close off 1st avenue so they can build a GIANT Taco Bell. I hear YUM Brands will threaten to build it in Hiawatha if the city doesn't close off 1st Avenue and turn it into the world's biggest "drive thru".

Why should PCI change their plans? They bought and paid for the city council and rigged the historical commission vote. CR has the best politicans money can buy!

The only way CRPD would get involved is if they could find some way to raise revenue. What do you want to bet the poor victim gets a red light ticket in the mail and since he is the "registered owner" - he is on the hook according to the law our great city council enacted. When will the citizens of this city wake up and realize the police are here ot protect us - NOT MAKE MONEY FROM US and the City Council is here to serve US - not the downtown power brokers.

Once again Waterloo beats out Cedar Rapids - this time they took the award for "UGLIEST HQQKERS" from C.R. - And we here in town had some real winners too. I think Waterloo cheated and bussed in their girls from Arkansas.
