Why do Democratic Senators continue to make the Senate irrelevant by never challenging Democratic Obama's quest for POWER?

This is a classic example of Obama (along with his minion and his handlers) acting like the Potentate of the United States. Will Senators, especially Democratic "yes men" have the b@lls to implement the Senate's Constitutional powers to check Obama's never-ending over-reach for unlimited Executive powers?!?

I was SO worried about Canada's spent nuclear fuel that it was keeping me awake at night. Her pledge to return spent fuel to the United States is such a relief; I will sleep SO much better tonight.

THAT would require a treaty, and the Constitution provides Senate approval of all treaties by a 2/3rds vote. Will this, too, be subject to the machination (scheming/crafty action/artful design intended to accomplish some usually evil end) of Reconciliation? If approved, it will just one more nail for the 2010 and 2012 election.

President Obama is NOT King Obama (even though he acts as if he is) and the Democratic Party is not the Soviet Politburo or China's National People's Congress (even though they act as if they are); the Democratic controlled Congress needs to exercise its Constitutional purpose to check the abuse of power by the executive branch before it finds itself even more irrelevant than it is now.

THEY and HE have much to answer for!

I hope he runs and wins against his obvious challenger: Hillary Clinton. She would be the most difficult candidate to defeat.

Of course he does...but WHY?!

I can think of several reasons and none of them has to do with what is best for the American people and this nation but everything to do with increasing POWER, providing more opportunities for pay-to-play, and attempting a pseudo-populist appeal. The old saying "Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing." immediately comes to mind.

The Democrats have shown a hell-bent, tyrannical, neo-marxist ideology at work for the last year. They ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED...EVERYTHING they attempt is suspect!

True...it's the economy; but it also is trillions in spending, Stimulus slush-fund, banana republic Democratic Congressional tactics, closed-door government, a skyrocketing deficit, Neo-Marxist appointees, Czars, TARP, Cash-for-Clunkers, Government owned car companies, attempted health care take-over, Presidential bowing that wasn't a bow, Obama apology tours, civilian terrorist trials, SEIU thuggery, ACORN ties, and on and on and on!
