"The ultimate point of contention was expressed by Marc A. Tracy of the New Republic. “I think one can be a Marxist in a defensible way that one can’t be a Nazi.”"

No, one can't. They're both the worst sort of villainy. the key difference is that Marxists weren't defeated utterly as Nazi's were. national Socialism and International Socialism were born from the intellectual history.

So this is the same crap as when they (and the President) went after Fox News. The y don't want any argument, they just want to shut down debate and seize power any way they can.

No, it's less relevant than ever. Pollution on fronts is down, forestation is back up to 1800 levels. Over time, and with the advances capitalism brings with technology and development humans are better stewards of the environment today than ever before.

The problem with "The Lorax" and others like it is that they take the "tragedy of the commons" and paint it as an inherent flaw of industry and business, as if capitalism destroys the world. Conservatives in general are in favor of conservation, but balanced with a growing economy and the needs of people.
Too often it seems like the ecology movement is anti-humanity and anti-civilization. So do we over-react? sometimes, but when you feel kicked enough times you start to get sensitive.

Actually I'd like to Josh Gomez (Morgan on Chuck) try on Carl Kolchak.

Jason Alexander might make an interesting Columbo

I have to agree about their GUI. I'm not sure it's worse, as it always has been bad. The system is just ridiculously slow to change channels, screens, etc.
The main thing keeping me around is their exclusive on Sunday Ticket.
