This is a perfect example why we moved out of Multnomah county. More money at the home owners expense for negligence and mismanagement. Yes we saw it coming like many did, originally asked for 540 million plus, so now 448 million doesn't sound too bad eh?

You're right, we are taking their homes away, more like squeezing them out. The behavior of this coyote was a bit bizarre. I had to shoot two coyotes last year on my acreage because they're behavior became stalking-like. The others I leave alone, these two had to be removed because of their aggressiveness.

The one point that is NEVER mentioned about coyotes is they are incredibly cunning animals, visibly and evidently thinking rather than behaving with instinctive routine.

In our current political mess, we even now have to "apply" and gain approval to volunteer at a state or federal park. The endless fees between, federal, state and county almost eliminate the joy of being able to enjoy a day at the park. I'm sorry, I pay taxes-what are our taxes going for in the first place?

I recall a day when the US Government didn't own everything, the people did.

Is the news broadening their coverage of fires lately or does it seem to be a increase in fires in general? It is amazing the fires a single engine can squash. Keep up the good work.
