he has no chance of an individual meda; in the commonwealth and its doubtful on his team reaching the podium with T& T Jamaica nd team Canada to face so he ducks out and goes to the euros where he will face a group of substandard white sprinters. the french boy will still beat him though.

The Trinidad and Tobago government alone could finance the entire CPL if they chose to do so without adversely affecting the T and T economy, in fact they could turn a profit. 50 million USD is chicken feed for the Trinidad and Tobago economy, corruption and kickbacks in Trinidad and Tobago run into the hundreds of millions USD each year 50 is nothing. The CPL or even Digicel for that matter can't afford to anger the T and T government, not the other way around Slip. you know that.

You have made a reasonable and rational counter argument, one that I do not discount out of hand because I believe you to be an "idiot." The tone of your previous comment was very dismissive of the minister because in your opinion he was an idiot. The tone was not the statement or points he made were idiotic. that was my real issue. I still hold however that no other Test playing nation, not even Zimbabye would allow an entity from a non test playing nation to own an operate their national T20 league. The CPL should be a private for profit league. As of now it is our recognized and authorized national league.

not only that, a team that is owned by an individual who is not a national and possibly not even a west Indian. in a league that is owned by an entity based in Ireland. Is there any other Test nation that would allow its national T20 league to be owned and operated by a foreign entity from a non Test playing nation? it is madness. This is not a private league, it is recognized by the WICB as our national T20 league. Craziness.

Drive it is believed that Slip is an Indian woman, he/she is not actually racist in any way shape or form, at least I don't believe so. He/she simply uses certain words phrases and implications to stir controversy and get the discussion moving. I myself don't agree with the method but a casual observation would show that it has been somewhat successful for him/her

Let's be honest here Slip, legal basis or not, it's the CPL who have to wheel and come again as we say. It is the CPL who have to beg regional governments to allow them to operate a pseudo multinational league that is recognized by the authoruized regional sporting organisation even though it is owed and operated by a foreign entity. The CPL knows full well that they cannot afford to be at odds with ANY regional government, big or small. The CPL knows that one bad move and they will get unceremoniously kicked out of the West Indies. It is the CPL that has no legal basis for existence as a multinational cricket competition save and except the recognition given by the WICB who, despite their grand charging cannot exist without handouts from regional governments.

Idiot or not he made a cogent and rational argument. A counter argument that is more logical may or may not be made, but that does not mean that his position is baseless.
The fact that the CPL agreed to accede to his request in itself shows they believe that his position has some merit. Puerto Rico aside ( a colony btw in real terms), do you actually believe a franchise team from an upstart league owned by a foreign entity not yet two years old could presume to name a team after a country?

I am saying you are only too happy to support Sepp Blatter, because supporting and watching the world cup is supporting Fifa and supporting Fifa is supporting Blatter. You eh criticizing the entire morally inept Fifa organisation and the morally questionable world cup but you hate jack Warner. If you hate the man say so. Don't try to say he is a crook when he has never been arrested and charged for any offence. Or is it innocent until PROVEN guilty except if yuh name is Warner
