Thanks for the link...interesting topic to pursue further...areas that disturb me here involve what I perceive to be voting rights in States where taxation is prohibited to the States. There is, to my mind, a basic conflict between the concept of 'equality under law' and this kind of unequal treatment. For me, this extends throughout the IRS Code...wherein equality under law is circumvented by inventing distinctions between kinds and sources of incomes as well as through the invention of artificial persons such as corporations...Look forward to reading more on this.....but, it seems that everyone else should seek everyone would benefit from being 'on a reservation' and letting the State go fish for its unearned increment....pound of flesh...tax...

Admittedly, I have done very little reading on the tribal questions in the West...but, I really have a hard time seeing the establishment of reservations, land stealing or settlement issues as falling under the Commerce Clause any more than I can see the extension of this clause into other, more familiar, areas of creative abuse...
