Jeez, did something go wildly wrong during toilet training? I think the independents were quite correct to ignore the Republican party in droves, and I'm still not sure the Republicans have much to offer but the coutry was sick of the divisive wedge issue politics that Rove practiced. The socialists of the Democratic party are currenty doing their own hari kari bit and the pedulum will again swing back to the center. I don't think dumping on people who wanted a "change" should bear the brunt of Holier Than Thou Conservatives. You who will ultimately become a smallish though snarky minority content to gnash it's teeth and scaring children.
