I know that several AoSHQ commentors are making appointments to get checked by their doctors. Others have related standing up for conservatism in a firm, no-nonsense way for the first time as tribute to him. He touched a lot of people who he never met and continues to do so even now.

Wow. My heart goes out to his family. I also hope there's someone able to pick up the torch of clearly and boldly stating conservative principles (and supporting others who do the same).

Absolutely. I also have four kids and can't afford to see a movie in the theater more than about twice a year. Netflix is pretty much the only way we watch movies anymore. Especially with the instant streaming to TV.

That was my first thought. I'd be very surprised if they're not trying to use WI funds. I wonder if it would be possible for the capital to deny the charges on grounds of fraud.

Also, sex and adult content is arguably one of the hardest things for fantasy/sci-fi authors to write, and Martin is awful at it. Yet he seems to enjoy writing about it a lot. Makes for a bad combination.

I haven't read the books but my husband had me check the first one out for him. I think he was less then half-way through when he asked me to return it for this very reason, and it was unusual for him not to finish a book.

Alpacas produce a wonderful fiber that is one of my favorite for spinning. I have a soft spot for all things alpaca so it was a bit of a "sqeee" moment when I saw that Big Journalism had chosen an alpaca.
