I agree with you that no one wins here. But someone lost their life. Tell me, when was the last time an officer was guilty? They get busted and we pay for their vacation while it's being investigated. Same law and same rules need to apply to people with badges.
I'm on the road a lot. On any given day, I can spot a cop talking on the phone while driving. I'm not a hater, just want the same laws applied.

This is very horrible. To steal from the community for personal gain. I don't know if I'm wrong but didn't Chris Farley burn down a community center in "Black Sheep"? That would make this the 4th crime. I'm willing to help anyway possible.
I find it funny that there are idiots out there that think this was a racially motivated shooting. I really don't think it matters if you are black or white or asian or in S.F. pink, you pull a gun on a cop be prepared to be shot. I'm just glad that my taxes will not be spent on him.

My roommate is a supervisor at BigFish Games, his desk pod is next to the window. He said it felt like it was slow motion. Just by luck, the person that the car would've hit was sick today. Glad no one was hurt. My question is....... Just how the heck did this happen? I drive by BFG everyday and know that building well, how?
Normally, I am not a fan of police brutality. However, when it comes to gang bangers and thugs, they deserve no sympathy from me nor the community they chose to screw with. We all have a choice. They chose to be thugs. Their initiation is to beat the crap out of each other or put a cap in someone innocent. The issues we need to deal with is cops who body slam innocent people into walls and shooting someone who is deaf. Those are bad cops. In my opinion, we need cops like this that put away people that didn't get a spanking from their parents.
Mike, the guy's blade was 3 inches. It was not against the law! You can do a lot of damage with a weed wacker too. You also can't hear someone when using one. So shoot the landscaper too? The cop over reacted with 4 rounds. No one is saying that we don't need police or we are not greatful for what they do. This officer either sucks at shooting or does not need to be on the force where my tax dollars go. Bottom line is Mr. Williams did not deserve to die! This officer put himself in the situation when he pulled out his revolver and pulled the trigger 4 times when no law was broken.
